Book Giveaway at Dade Heritage Trust
Join Dade Heritage Trust at their historic Brickell headquarters for a special book giveaway event celebrating Miami’s architectural heritage and the power of preservation.
Guests will receive complimentary publications highlighting South Florida’s historic neighborhoods and learn how preservation can serve as a tool for sustainability and community resilience. During the event, staff will share insights into Dade Heritage Trust’s Preservation of Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing (NOAH) Initiative, an innovative program that restores historic multi-family buildings while maintaining long-term affordability for residents.
Through NOAH, Dade Heritage Trust partners with Miami-Dade County to rehabilitate architecturally significant properties in neighborhoods like Little Havana, addressing structural and environmental issues while preserving historic character. The initiative demonstrates how historic preservation can support climate resilience, healthier living conditions, and housing stability.
Stop by to pick up a book, explore the headquarters, and learn how protecting Miami’s past can help build a more sustainable and equitable future.
