Community Action

Who Pays for Delay? – Financing Climate Solutions Where Risk Is Real

Miami is not a warning sign on the horizon. It is where the consequences of delayed climate
action are already being lived, priced, and paid for by communities today. As climate risk
accelerates, capital is moving, but too often it remains cautious, slow, and disconnected from
the people already bearing the costs.

This convening exists to close that gap. By grounding finance conversations in lived reality, policy context, and real deployment challenges, this convening reframes climate finance from abstract mechanisms to actionable responsibility. Miami serves as the proving ground for what it takes to move capital earlier, smarter, and more equitably, and to demonstrate models that can scale nationally.

This INVITE ONLY session is designed to move beyond discussion and toward outcomes by:

  • Translating climate finance tools into decision-relevant insights
  • Surfacing where capital, policy, and implementation currently break down
  • Exploring catalytic philanthropy as a lever for faster, fairer climate action
  • Identifying pathways for follow-on pilots and partnerships beyond Miami Climate Week
