Impact in Action: Community Meets Research with TheResilient305 Collaborative

Join the Resilient305 Collaborative and Miami Climate 365 to close out Miami Climate Week 2026 and look ahead to what comes next in community resilience. This evening brings together community organizations, researchers, public officials, and business leaders to explore how South Florida is developing a new model for collaborative resilience research.

Learn from the Resilient305 Collaborative about Resilience Research, a community-informed approach to researching resilience that is co-produced with community organizations. Discover how Resilience Research combines expertise across community, government, and academia to produce actionable findings that communities and policymakers can use to advance resilience efforts.

The evening will feature:

  • A short presentation from Collaborative Directors Tiffany Troxler and Amy Clements, joined by community organizations and local public officials actively producing Resilience Research. The Collaborative will also unveil the new Miami Resilience Meter — a first-of-its-kind online dashboard that tracks neighborhood-level resilience across 35 metrics, including flooding frequency, heat index, and access to transit.

  • A networking social hour with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with researchers, community partners, and fellow stakeholders working on resilience across the region.
